The Slab Pour

Not the prettiest of finishes (or pictures) but it will do.  Even with a concrete pump with a 16m boom and 6 of us (plus pump operator) this was still one of the physically demanding days of my life.  It didn’t help that ‘in the hole’ it was touching 30 degrees by midday nor that the first two loads were way too dry a mix and came one after the other.

Anyone from the Health and Safety Exec - please note, I am the only one properly dressed!

Yes, he is a handsom chap; and no, it’s not me!  This is Shaun the TE20 (that’s a small old and fabulous tractor which changed the face of agriculture in the UK and the world over to you lot) man - he also has a trailer and was kind enough to give me a hand.
