29/03/07- ... so on with other things - puting up the barge boards and cementing the tiles edges.

24/02/07 - The whole house ventilation system roof vents installed. Upper one for exhaust, lower for fresh air intake...These are tucked away on the south side of the flat roof.  So not visible except from the back boundary.  Just a few more bits to do and it will be ready to go!

20/10/06 -Vent Axia whole house heat recovery/ventilation unit in situ.  Wired up but no ducting yet.

11/10/06 - Chimney nearly plasterboarded out.  Oak lintel and brick piers either side to follow ...

18/09/06 - Lounge plasterboarding nearly done - but fireplace and chimney must go in before the plasterboarding can be finished.

11/09/06 - Ventilation ducting (in the lounge) going in for the whole house ventilation and heat recovery system.

Wall hung loo frame and soil pipe installed and walls plastered...

Study plastered (except oak frame in-fill panels and loft hatch)...

03/03/06 - Kitchen ceiling plaster boarded out.  Just above the ceiling at the end nearest the camera you can see the hatch cut through the SIP panel to access the loft above the kitchen via french loft hatch No 2 which will be in the study ceiling..

01/03/06 - First sheet of 15mm plasterboard about to be fixed in the dining room.

19/02/06 - Stud walls up and ready for wiring, plumbing and ventilation system ducting.

11/05/06 - Dining room (temp bedroom) door hung (no architrave yet).

09/04/06 - Caravan temporary drain off to the left, new house drain at 12 o’clock...

24/08/06 - Tiling the front of the house is finished - bar the ridges and bits where scaffold poles are in the way.

30/07/06 - Tiling the front of the house continues...

The reason the scafolding is down - The french drain along the back under the first bit of (water proofing) Delta Membrane.  The bank keeps on collapsing, so it had to be done , NOW!

29/08/08 -  Wall footings rebared and ready for concrete.  Looking North.  This will have a brick and concrete block retianing wall on it.  Further up it changes to brick and brick, non-retaining...
